Join us at 10:30 AM for an intergenerational service which allows the whole Atonement community to celebrate Pentecost.  Wear red or other flame colors and stay to enjoy red velvet cake and red punch after the service.   We will gather in the Parish Hall and process into the Nave.
 Children's Christian Formation Parent Meeting - 11:45 am this Sunday!
 
Please grab your cake and punch following the service this Sunday and join Brittany Apple, Children's Christian Formation Coordinator, in the CCF area for a brief meeting.  All parents are encouraged to attend.  Kimberlee will be available to supervise the children.  If you are inable to come, but would like more information about the meeting, please contact Brittany - atoneccf@earthlink.net

Join us as we welcome the Rev. Benjamin Anthony, who will preach and preside while our rector, the Rev. Trawin Malone, is on sabbatical.
 
We are also excited to welcome our new Children's Christian Formation Coordinator, Brittany Apple.   Brittany's offce hours will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9 am - 2 pm.  She will also be here on Sunday.  To leave a message for Brittany, call the office and choose extension 13.
Please wear nametags to help Ben and Brittany learn everyone's names.  Thanks for your participation in advance!
 
Mother's Day Breakfast

Appreciative Inquiry

May 18, 2008 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM- The Rev. Ray Gotko, from St. James in Marietta, will lead the congregation in a few hours of Appreciative Inquiry.  Ray is a seasoned priest who is skilled in congregational development.  The time for the session will be Sunday,  Lunch will be served before the meeting, please bring a side dish to share. The whole congregation is encouraged to attend this session.  For more information please contact Ken Grim or any member of the vestry.

Kanuga Conference - Nov. 15 - 17, 2008
The Stories of Jesus Birth; Then and Now
Best-selling authors Marcus Borg & John Dominic Crossan team up to explore the ancient and contemporary meaning of the Christmas stories in Matthew and Luke, and their relevance then and now.   A $50 deposit is due by May 30th to reserve a spot in the Atonement cabin at Kanuga.  Total cost is detailed on the sign-up sheet in the church lobby.  Contact Howard Grimes for more information.
