Administrative

Assist Parish Administrator with copying/folding of newsletter, mailing of reminder cards for Acolytes, Altar Guild, Eucharistic Ministers, Flower Guild and Worship Leaders, and other general assistance as requested, usually on Wednesdays; general office work during Parish Administrator's absence. Art Ministry

Select a different artist each month, and display their work on the walls of the lobby, at the Atonement. One month per year will be given to display the work of various Atonement artists. More information

Buildings 

The committee provides organization for those individuals attending to matters of building maintenance and provides a convenient way for other members of the Parish to become involved. The committee also makes recommendations for improvements to the Vestry and implements these subject to budget and Vestry approval. More information

 

          Communications

Provide a vehicle for Parish-wide communications, advising parishioners of important events in the life of the parish.


 

 Episcopal Church Women

Every woman in the Episcopal Church is a member of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) by virtue of church membership.  The ECW is an organization of diverse women holding a variety of views.  The common denominator of members is love of God and the wish to do the Lord’s work.  ECW is organized to foster fellowship and to stimulate women to take an active role in the life of the church. Evangelism & Incorportation

Purpose: The primary work of the committee will be three-fold:
1) To explore ways in which we can follow Jesus' commandment to spread the Gospel. (Matt. 27:16 - 20)
2) To ensure that the people who visit us feel welcome and choose to return.
3) To find a place where newcomers can have a sense of belonging.

Grounds & Memorial Garden 

To enhance the visual appeal of the landscaping at Atonement. To address issues concerning the grounds on an as needed basis (e.g. retention pond). To work on a long-term master plan for all of the grounds. More information

Parish Life
To coordinate any Parish-wide celebrations, providing opportunities for parishioners to use their gifts and talents, as well as providing fellowship for participants in order to strengthen the body of Christ at Atonement. To work with the Evangelism and Incorporation ministry group to look for ways to invite the local community into the life of Atonement. More information
