Acolytes
The Acolyte Ministry is open to all youth over the age of 10. Acolytes assist the Rector at the altar during all services.

Altar Guild
Altar Guild is a group of women who are called to serve God by preparing and tending the places where we worship. This includes setting the Altar for all services, washing and pressing the linens, procuring vestments, vessels and all altar supplies. Altar Guild work goes on quietly behind the scenes. Altar Guild has a special role as the priest's liturgical partner in making the worship life of the parish run smoothly.

Baptism
To work with expectant mothers, and parents who wish to have their child(ren) baptized into the body of Christ. To determine the services that can be provided at Atonement, working with the Rector as necessary to provide those services. This will include prayer for the parents and the child.

Pastoral Care

To demonstratively follow Christ's example, acting in faith as members of His body, to provide intentional support to members of the parish who are requesting prayers or other assistance in times of need, be it for themselves or for others known to them such as relatives or friends.

Flower Guild

Enhance the worship experience at Atonement by providing floral arrangements for the altar at all services.

Greeters

To welcome all people who come to Atonement, especially visitors. Greeters are to be at the Welcoming Table from 20 minutes before the service begins until 10 minutes after the service has started. Greeters help visitors by:

• walking them to the Ushers for a service sheet,
• introducing them to another member of Atonement with whom they can sit
• encouraging them to sign in the Visitor's Book and giving them a visitor's bag.

Liturgy and Music

To explore and implement the best practice within the Anglican tradition in which worship and the liturgy become meaningful and relevant to the congregation.

Weddings

To determine the services that are available at Atonement for a wedding and to work with the bridal couple (or their designee) to coordinate such services, allowing Christ's message of love and redemption to be brought to these same people.

Ushers

At all services to support the liturgy in the following manner: hand-out service sheets, conduct a head-count and report same to the Rector, bring the sacraments to the altar, facilitate the service offering and bring the offering to the altar, collect service sheets etc., after the service and place in the recycling bin.
